Light Through Darkness
The sky is painted with shades of gray
As dark clouds loom and threaten to fray
But in the midst of the storm's caress
A glimmer of hope, a light to impress
The golden hour creeps up from the east
Casting hues of orange, a brilliant feast
It pierces through the clouds, a beam so bright
A symbol of hope, a glimmer of light
The darkness fades as the light takes hold
A sense of calm, a comfort to behold
For in the face of the storm's great power
A light shines through, a beacon to empower
The storm may rage, the winds may howl
But light will break through, to the darkest scowl
And though the clouds may still remain
Hope will shine bright, and darkness will wane
So let the storm come, let the darkness fall
For in its wake, the light will stand tall
A symbol of courage, of strength, of might
A beacon of hope, a guiding light.
Whispering from above, the clouds they say
That light will shine through, in the darkest of day
And though the storm may seem so strong
Hope will endure, and carry us along.
Thus, we look to the sky, in the midst of the storm
And remember that light, will always take form
A reminder of courage, of love, and of grace
A symbol of hope, in the darkest of space.
So let the storm come, and let the darkness fall
For in its wake, the light will stand tall
A beacon of hope, a guiding light
A symbol of peace, a promise of might.
